Tuscany, the wineshire
Historically Tuscany had a great importance in affirming the culture of the vine and the successful production of wine. Today, Tuscany is the heart of Italian wine, thanks to an interesting combination with the territory and its environment.
This is finally a good synergy between the land and the man, a promising phase with tourism, which is abundant in this region.
Between the provinces of Siena and Florence you can visit the areas of the most prestigious Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano, the Chianti Classico and other Chianti places, besides the Vernaccia of San Gimignano territory. You can try the Sangiovese, a variety of grape today re-evaluated in all its aspects. Other black grape wines as good as Sangiovese, are the Canaiolo, the Ciliegiolo, the Aleatico and the new Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Among the white grape wines, you can taste the Tuscan Trebbiano, the Malvasia from Chianti, the Vernaccia of San Gimignano.
